Merry Christmas and a Mappy New Year!
December, time for a short review. We are looking back on an exciting and successful year – and hope the same for you!
We are proud to state that 2015 was once more a year of growth, expansion and consolidation:
We have been welcoming 10 new staff members and are really happy about new developers, designers, sales experts and a office manager are enriching our team.
For our new affiliate Ubilabs, Inc., we opened up an office in San Francisco.
As our office in the heart of Schanzenviertel in Hamburg was bursting at the seams, we converted the attic into offices and conference rooms.
We had full order books all year round. We want to highlight 3 external projects:
- El Capitan Street View Trek for Google – from scratch to final microsite
- Community platforms atudo & Blitzer.de – especially the new gas price and gas station finder
- Witness.org – developing an interaktive video archive for uncovering human rights violations
And we refined our own products and services as well, especially our location intelligence tool ATLAS. We integrated drive time polygons that can be used to evaluate the accessibility of a location. For example, you could define a region that encompasses all accessible streets that lie within one hour drive time. If you want to see this live, feel free to contact us for a free trial.
We continued and strengthened our partnership with Google. With a team of four we provided consulting and licenses for a broad range of companies and industries and built up long lasting business relations.
And, last but not least: Our website got a facelift!
We are looking forward to 2016. We will continue to move forward and aim to get even better in what we are best at: Creating interactive maps, that help organisations to take better decisions, inspire customers, and optimize the way resources are used.
