Which is your position at Ubilabs?
I work as a Sales Engineer in the Google Cloud Team. This means that I mainly provide technical advice. I support the sales team and our customers in technical questions, create demo visualizations and provide support for Ubilabs..
What do you do specifically every day?
My day-to-day work is to support existing customers and offer technical advice regarding the use of Google Maps. Furthermore, I offer new customers an introduction on how to integrate and use Google Maps. I support my colleagues from the sales and marketing team. Also, I frequently land development projects thanks to my relationship with licensed customers. Beyond that, I give lectures at events - whether at universities, customer offices, or at Hackathons, and I build demos for our customers.
What do you like most about it?
I like to immerse myself in certain topics and enjoy imparting my knowledge. This is why I really enjoy researching, giving lectures, and of course advising our customers. And the teamwork with my colleagues!
What do you particularly appreciate about Ubilabs?
You constantly can develop professionally and technically and learn a lot. There is great deal of confidence and sincerity in the team. In addition to the good team spirit and flat hierarchies, I appreciate that I can work independently and that I’m afforded a lot of room for creativity instead of being encumbered by rigid processes.
I sleep :) - or play guitar, listen to music, do sport or take a sauna. I also like snowboarding and I love movies, books, and records. And rattling scooters are great!
